This major update includes the following commonly requested new features:

Edit mode:

• Adjustable song lengths, between 20 and 120 steps. (The old version was fixed at 48.)
• Each of the 18 notes can be tunes individually, ranging from C3 to B6 including semitones. (The old version was fixed to a C major scale between C4 and F6.)

Play mode:

• New option to let the crank wind up the music box so that it auto-plays for a while.

Because the initial release was not built with new features in mind, the app is also (in large parts) re-written from scratch. As a result, new bugs might have been introduced. If you encounter any, please let me know!

I also took this opportunity to slightly update the default tunes included with the app, in particular to use the new semitones. This makes some of them a bit more pleasant to listen to :)

There are two ways to get these:

1. A fresh install. Manually wipe the game data either directly on the Playdate (Settings -> Games -> Music Box -> Delete Game Data) or delete the contents of the directory (Data -> user.???.com.tizianzeltner.musicbox) when connecting the Playdate to a computer and booting it in data disk mode. Warning: this will reset the whole app and all custom tunes will be deleted.

2. Manual file replacement. Download and unzip the updated tune files here and manually replace the corresponding files in (Data -> user.???.com.tizianzeltner.musicbox) when connecting the Playdate to a computer and booting it in data disk mode.
